We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Staff Assistant to provide high-level administrative support on a wide range of matters—including complex, confidential, and sensitive issues to work with the Individual Giving Team.

 

Be You.

 

The Staff Assistant will analyze complex issues, identify viable options and communicate options to the pertinent individuals; when appropriate, implement solutions. 

Work independently to manage projects assigned.

Provide administrative management and coordination for the assigned functions.

Maintain confidential files and information, demonstrating sound judgment when dealing with leadership, personnel, donor information and sensitive issues concerning prospects and donors.

 

Work Arrangement – Hybrid

 

Anticipated Pay Range - Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $19.80 to USD $30.63. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as w ell as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education/Training - Work requires a broad knowledge of clerical and accounting principles and practices normally acquired through two (2) years of post-secondary education in secretarial science or a related business field.

 

Experience - Work generally requires four (4) years of related secretarial/clerical experience to acquire skills n
