The Team

LGH Quality and Patient Safety Service is focused on creating an environment where improving patient outcomes is at the centre of all activity. The Role

  • Work within the Quality and Patient Safety Service to support the implementation and monitoring of governance systems to enable the safe delivery of care and improved patient outcomes.
  • Drive initiatives to address specific areas of concern relating to quality, clinical treatment, patient/client safety, risk management, and progress accreditation requirements.
  • Access, monitor and evaluate clinical data and indicators as required and provide relevant advice and recommendations.
  • Drive the use of co-design and consumer engagement and champion the use of Patient Experience Data to focus improvement opportunities. 

You will need

  • Extensive experience in patient safety, quality improvement and clinical governance, including the development of policies, programs, education and initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, research and reporting skills, with experience using patient safety databases, interpreting healthcare data and developing evidence-based recommendations for improvement.
  • Highly developed leadership, communication and project

Details of appointment

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team!

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$111,754 to $126,579 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
