Senior Project Manager (Supply Chain)

Introduction to the job

ASML Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) and Plan & Deliver (P&D) are responsible for managing ASML’s suppliers, securing materials – at the right quality and cost, inventory and delivery to our factories and our customers’ fabs.

For the execution of our supply chain and logistics defined strategic initiative roadmap we are looking for a senior project manager who can influence without hierarchical power a cross sector project team. The senior project manager drives successful execution of (cluster of) projects in accordance to agreed triple constraints (time, scope, budget/resources) in an environment with complex, and even for the high technology industry, unique processes.

The role provides a good opportunity to further learn and to develop skills and competences by exposure to S&P/P&D strategic and operational priorities and closely collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Role and responsibilities

• Independently leads complex multi-disciplinary projects that contain several sub projects.
• Manages large team of specialists (10-20 FTE) and stakeholders with opposing interests.
• Projects involve innovative and heterogeneous topics, that have long term impact.
• Projects typically involve several sectors or are at company level and have impact on various major business processes; require good understanding of the business and interdependencies of the sectors.
• Project timeline:  9 to– 15 months ahead.
   

Education and experience

• Master degree (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering) or same level achieved through experience
• Knowledge or certified with official project management methods (e.g. PMP )
• 8+ years and proven experience as project manager.
• Experience in planning is a strong pre
• Experience in managing of portfolios is a pre
• Experience in line management is a pre
• Experience in Supply Chain environment is a pre
