Production Control Coordinator - Scheduler

Join us as a Production Control Coordinator-Scheduler in our Moorpark, CA facility. As a Scheduler you will be responsible to coordinate the flow of materials to designated department.

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $15.38 - $28.55. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

More details about the opportunity:  

• Creates level-load schedules, which satisfy internal customer requirements and provides a smooth production flow through work centers.
• Monitors and reports inventory levels of WIP (work in process) and raw stock. 
• Maintains inventory levels to required production schedules.
• Reviews all issued sales orders for changes in order quantity, design configuration, part number.
• Maintains a historic log of schedule changes for all programs.
• Creates and monitors production output against internal customer requirements.
• Analyzes current systems and submits proposals for implementing improvements if necessary.
• Maintain a parts shortage report and communicate prioritization of requests to buyers.
• Interfaces daily with various departments at all levels of management. 
• Analyzes internal customer requirements and reports variances from previous requirements.
• Coordinate with the department management on work schedules and short-term capacity planning
• Able to work in other departments and take on other responsibilities as the business requires.

Position hours/shifts:

• 1st shift (Start time - 4:00AM)
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.    
• In order to accommodate the needs of our business, it may be necessary to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be computer proficient in MS Office Applications
• Must possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Detailed oriented.
• One year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to communicate effectively in the English and Spanish languages

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for prolonged periods of time to include up to 8 hours and, walk, sit, type, write, talk or hear. Must be able to lift-up to 30 pounds from floor to waist.
