The Business Intelligence Lead solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Business Intelligence Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.The Business Intelligence Lead will support Stars in-home/virtual operations with daily/weekly tracking and monitoring to KPI’s, data file audits to ensure there are not issues/gaps in data, Supplemental Data tracking (end to end), outcomes analyses, and other business intelligence needs. This role will require the candidate to immerse in end-to-end processes (both operational and from a data standpoint), as well as carry a firm understanding of the bigger picture of how in-home/virtual initiatives impact Humana’s Star measure performance. This position is accountable for ensuring operational excellence and maximizing program efficiency. This role works closely with key partners throughout the enterprise, especially (but not limited to) MPA, QSI, IHWA, and Stars Technology.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of data analysis experience
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs
- Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
- Advanced in SQL, SAS, and other data systems
- Experience with creating data visualizations in Power BI
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
- Self-starter – comfortable working independently to accomplish components of a larger program
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective facilitator – direct collaborative efforts amongst internal and external partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Medicare Stars experience – HEDIS, CAHPS/HOS
- Experience working with Claims/Supplemental Data
- Experience working with Humana Clinical Operations
- Experience in overseeing member outreach programs
Additional Information
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.Scheduled Weekly Hours
40Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
