Development/Marketing Administrative Assistant serves in planning and implementation of the goals, special events, campaigns, mailings, printing, correspondence and other administrative tasks. Point of contact for residents, families and the primary support person for the Marketing, Development departments.
Development Department:
Work with Development Director to facilitate upcoming major Capital Campaign.
- Fundraising:
- Administrative support for fundraising campaigns, including making appointments with prospective donors, special events, direct mail, and online giving.
- Cultivating Donor Relationships:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective donors.
- Stewarding donors to ensure continued support.
- Implementing donor engagement processes to foster long-term relationships.
- Ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping of donor information and gifts.
- Communicating and Reporting:
- Communicating fundraising progress and results to the Executive Director, Board, and other stakeholders.
- Preparing reports on fundraising activities and outcomes.
- Promoting the organization's mission and fundraising needs to the public and key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with other departments within the organization to support fundraising efforts.
Marketing Department:
- Supports the Sales and Marketing team with processing paperwork, hardcopy/electronic filing, correspondence, assembling packets, etc.
- Extracts/exports mailing list from marketing software.
- Cross trained as a receptionist to cover this area as needed,
- Creates, runs reports from marketing software.
- Plans and facilitates Marketing events, creates event programs, greet guests.
- Continual preparation for trade industry survey.
- Works with directly residents and families to answer their questions and ensure satisfaction.
