Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role:</p> <p><strong><em>Key Responsibilities</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyze existing queries and dashboards in Athena, BigQuery and Tableau Server to understand current data structures and reporting logic.</li> <li>Rewrite and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to transition from Athena and BigQuery to Snowflake.</li> <li>Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure new Snowflake-based data sources and dashboard metrics match existing Athena and Big Query data sources and dashboards. </li> <li>Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports connected to Snowflake, ensuring data accuracy and performance.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver data solutions to meet organizational needs.</li> <li>Create comprehensive documentation for data sources, ETL processes, and reporting solutions</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Must-have Skills </em></strong></p> <ul> <li>6+ years of proven expertise as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer with previous experience with data migration projects, particularly transitioning from Athena and BigQuery to Snowflake.</li> <li>Advanced skills in Tableau for dashboard development and report creation.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and methodologies.</li> <li>Experience with performance tuning and optimization in both Snowflake and Tableau environments.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Nice-to-have:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>AI Tooling Proficiency</strong>: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.</li> <li>Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.</li> <li>Certifications in Snowflake and/or Tableau.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A High-Impact Environment</li> <li>Commitment to Professional Development</li> <li>Flexible and Collaborative Culture</li> <li>Global Opportunities</li> <li>Vibrant Community</li> <li>Total Rewards</li> </ul> <p><em>*Specific benefits are determined by the employment type and location.</em></p> <p>Find out more about our culture <u><a href="https://www.instagram.com/wizelineglobal/" target="_blank">here</a></u>.</p>
