Director, Information & Application Systems

SOCi, the marketing platform for multi-location brands, is looking for a Director, Information & Application Systems. This is a new position and an exciting opportunity to manage our comprehensive technology stack across SOCi, presently supported by an external partner and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will work across all functional areas to optimize the current internal technologies in use to support our corporate goal of Driving Efficiency as we continue our rapid growth. This will report to our C-Suite with a matrixed accountability between HR and R&D.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Help the business consolidate a large technology stack into a more efficient, and integrated, technology stack that enables enterprise-wide data reporting.
• Ensure that department technology is aligned to common data identifiers to enable unifying data across the enterprise.
• Consolidate business systems to enable multi-user systems to drive efficiencies in each department and across the business.
• Work closely with business leaders and create systems to be used internally to improve collaboration, efficiency, and traceability.
• Review current systems, tools, and software to ensure fit and maximized usage.
• Serve as a technology business partner to help leaders solve business problems with the current technology stack.
• Drive use, adoption, and optimal integration of tools/systems across various business functions.
• Lead exploration of new systems and tuning existing systems to meet the growing needs of businesses and functions.
• Act as the custodian of all software assets and drive interactions with vendors, contractors, service providers etc.
• Partner with an external IT support partner to ensure proper process and support services are being delivered in alignment with expectations.
• Understand the impacts of privacy and security as it relates to our technology stack.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely
• Must-Have:  
  • Demonstrated experience in a cloud-first / application system approach.
  • 6+ years in a centralized internal IT environment.
  • 5+ years supporting a SaaS sales company with an understanding of Salesforce, HRIS, Finance ERPs, Data visualization, and Google Enterprise.
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise data architecture and ability to partner across the company stakeholders to optimize data systems and governance.
• Desired Skills (but not required):  
  • Experience in a fast-growth middle market environment.
  • Experience with our current tech stack of Slack, Netsuite, Paylocity, and Tableau
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
