Position Summary

Ellit Groups is seeking an experienced Epic Certified Principal Trainer specializing in ClinDoc and Bugsy to support a large-scale training and activation initiative for a Midwest healthcare client.

Our client is contracting with us to bring in Epic Certified Principal Trainers to support a structured enterprise training effort. There may be some occasional Principal Trainer-level work such as curriculum modification and tip sheet creation, but the primary responsibility will be onsite classroom-based end-user training during an intensive 8-week training period running late August through October .

This is a highly visible, hands-on training role focused on delivering engaging, instructor-led classroom sessions that prepare end users for go-live success. The client is seeking professional, polished, and confident trainers who can effectively facilitate learning at scale in a fast-paced implementation environment.

The engagement begins in July with remote onboarding and credentialing , followed by onsite travel for classroom training and activation support during the go-live readiness and execution period. Candidates must bring multi-application Epic experience , with the ability to train across interconnected clinical workflows and support enterprise adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led Epic training for end users, super users, and clinical staff
• Facilitate onsite classroom training during the 8-week intensive training period
• Support training development activities including curriculum updates, job aids, and tip sheets
• Assist with Training, Design, Development, and Requirements (TDR) activities
• Translate clinical workflows into clear, structured training content for end users
• Partner with clinical, operational, and project teams to ensure training aligns with system build and workflows
• Support training environment readiness and validation activities
• Participate in go-live preparation, activation support, and stabilization efforts
• Provide at-the-elbow support during training and post-go-live periods as needed
• Conduct learner assessments and competency validation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date training documentation aligned with system changes
• Promote strong end-user adoption of Epic ClinDoc and Bugsy workflows through effective facilitation and adult learning techniques
