Responsibilities

The Coordinator NHHI Non-Invasive Testing works collaboratively with Northside Hospital Heart Institute (NHHI) Leadership to administer and coordinate operations of Non-Invasive Cardiac testing services to achieve and maintain clinical quality, financial viability, patient and visitor safety as well as service excellence and customer satisfaction.  Responsible for the day to day operations and supervision of stress staff (Registered Nurses, Paramedics and Exercise Physiologists.  Responsible for the coordination of all stress testing services provided within Northside Hospital Heart Institute’s Cardiovascular Diagnostic Centers and physician practices including but not limited to patient access, staff scheduling, techniques and procedures, equipment maintenance, and adherence to operating polices/procedures. Is responsible for ensuring compliance with departmental operational through-put goals.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

 

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing  

Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License.

Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Minimum of one (1) year experience involving the treatment of cardiac or critical care patients.

• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
