Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in the mental health field
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of de-escalation and crisis management
Working knowledge of EHR systems
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
One of the following:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling (ABEC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the Alabama Board of Examiners in Marriage and Family Therapy (ABEMFT)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners (ABSWE) *
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners (ABSWE)
*Clinical supervision by a LICSW-S to meet requirements for LICSW available

Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and implements comprehensive therapy to assigned patients in order to provide patient care which meets Infirmary Health’s (IH) standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.
