Painter/Fiberglass Coatings Specialist

Carfair Composites is looking for a skilled Painter/Fiberglass Coatings Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying various types of coatings to fiberglass products, ensuring that each piece meets our high standards of quality and durability. You will work closely with other team members to maintain efficiency and consistency in production while adhering to safety regulations. Your expertise in coatings will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic and functional qualities of our fiberglass components.

Wage: 23.18

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial coatings and paints to fiberglass products using spray guns and other tools.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Mix and match paint to ensure color consistency and quality as per customer specifications.
• Perform inspections of finished products to guarantee quality standards are met.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean and in proper working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in painting and fiberglass coatings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of different types of coatings and their applications.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and instructions.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
