As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s desired reputation. We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll advance your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports end users across the DOD, intelligence community (IC) and delivery teams to create innovative communication approaches to describe program capabilities.

As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you will design, develop, produce, and consult on internal and external communication materials and media that support national defense and security priorities. Shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to establish and maintain existing client mission partnerships, document internal best practices for communications, and foster a collaborative environment through information sharing and transparency. Advise on all aspects of Strategic Communications and coordinate and develop newsletter and website content, briefings, talking points, executive summaries, and marketing materials. Work with subject matter experts to coordinate and facilitate user and stakeholder engagements.

You Have:   

• 5+ years of experience with strategic communications
• 3+ years of experience in a client-facing strategic communications role
• Experience with the DoD community
• Experience with using the complete Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and SharePoint
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:   

• 3+ year of experience in working directly with senior leaders
• Experience working in a technology or IT field
• Experience with JIRA or Content Management Systems
• Possession of excellent analysis and data gathering skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
