IT Data Analyst Team Lead

Position Purpose:  This position is responsible for assisting IT management with maintaining the business intelligence network and tools to support business intelligence, data analytics and reporting. 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field
• 3+ years administering, developing, and managing SQL.
• 3+ years' experience with a Programming Language (C#, Python, or JAVA).
• 3+years' experience with a data analytics and data visualization tools, industry experience is a plus
• 3+ years’ experience with SQL Server database administration, Experience with SQL Server Analysis Server (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Data analytics and data visualization tools, preferably MS Power BI
• Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities
• Attention to detail
• Implement tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights. Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership. Some variation in scheduled hours may be required to meet company needs.
2. Understand business needs and objectives
3. Develop strategies for effective data analysis, visualization and reporting
4. Select, configure and implement analytics solutions
5. Extract reports from multiple sources
6. Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling
7. Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights
8. Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
9. Design and build technical processes to address business issues as needed for the company.
10. Organize and drive successful completion of data business intelligence by collaborating with key stakeholders.
11. Act as a liaison between the lines of business and Information Technology, collaborate with stakeholders to develop dashboards and reports.
12. Serve as a member of the team, and participate in all team meetings, duties and activities as assigned.
13. Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.

15. Demonstrates strong customer service skills that incorporate the 5 tenets of the Rosecrance Way into daily practices and interactions with all stakeholders.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

• Shift: 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Monday thru Friday

Work Location: Rosecrance Rockford East – Rockford, IL with opportunity to work from home (must be located within the states of IL, WI, or IA)
