AI Business Manager

Doran Jones is seeking an experienced and innovative Business Manager to head our client’s AI program. This program covers several projects that span multiple technology teams. This role will be pivotal in managing the central team that plays a crucial role in determining the scope of AI within the organization and coordinating development efforts across all teams.
In this role, you will oversee the administrative and financial responsibilities of the centralized AI team and manage the AI program governance. You will work closely with the executive leader to build a strategy for new technology initiatives, including a standardized communication approach. You will have the opportunity to influence several divisions of the organization and manage complex technical projects, all the while ensuring regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design a strategic roadmap for AI initiatives in partnership with the Head of AI.
• Create a comprehensive communication plan to ensure the AI strategy is understood and supported organization-wide.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance engagement and ensure the success of AI programs.
• Develop an ongoing strategy to maintain visibility and recognition for AI efforts across the organization.
• Take ownership of AI program management, including setting up governance structures and processes.
• Establish project management tools and systems to track progress and outcomes effectively.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align and execute distributed AI projects seamlessly.
• Define success metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of AI initiatives.
• Introduce systems for continuous monitoring and optimization of AI solutions.
• Manage budgeting and administrative tasks for the central AI team.
• Aggregate and prioritize investment proposals to align with broader AI goals.
• Oversee partnerships with external vendors and suppliers of AI tools and technologies.
• Coordinate the development of governance frameworks to guide AI initiatives across teams.
• Promote the adoption of standardized practices and guidelines for AI system architecture.
• Work with the Head of AI to create a unified architectural framework that ensures consistency and quality.
• Uphold data governance standards, emphasizing compliance and data quality across all efforts.
• Build consensus and influence outcomes across teams and organizations through collaboration and persuasive communication.
