About the team

 

The Executive Programs & Experience team creates strategic global and regional event programs for customers, employees, partners, and the ecosystem. These innovative events drive significant and tangible impact to SAP’s business. The team’s portfolio includes both in-person and virtual programs that are aligned and sponsored by members of the SAP Executive Board.

 

What you’ll do:

 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Executive Programs & Experience Team
Location:  Newtown Square, PA
Expected start date to end date: May 2024
Contract Duration (Months): 6 months – 1 year 
Preferred Working Hours/Week: 30 - 40

 

In this role, you’ll:

 

  • Support communications, graphic design, and project management requirements for programs within the team’s portfolio of executive events
    • Provide support for editing and proof-reading of communication assets
    • Write first drafts of e-mail communications 
    • Create and maintain event platforms such as external websites and internal SharePoint sites
    • Provide graphic design for materials such as on-site signage, PowerPoint presentations, internal portal pages, printed event materials, mobile apps, registration sites, and external websites
    • Provide testing support for event digital assets such as invitations, e-mail communications, newsletters, etc.
    • Assist with photography searches for event collateral and help manage photo galleries
    • Provide PowerPoint support for internal program updates and/or team calls
    • Take detailed notes for the team during meetings
    • Post project assets and ongoing updates to internal collaboration sites like Microsoft Teams
  • Event Operations:
    •  Support operational projects/tasks related to on-site event planning and follow-up assigned by Event Manager
      • Manage administrative registration system updates and pull reports as needed
    •  Support virtual meetings on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other platforms
  •  Miscellaneous Support:
    • Support shared Outlook inboxes
    • Analyze post-event survey data
    • Manage event reporting
    • Support special projects as required by team
    • Interface with internal teams & vendors as required to ensure successful project delivery

  • Technical skills: 
    • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel 
    •  Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat) 
    • File storage/management skills or knowledge is a plus, such as MS Teams & MS SharePoint
    • Light video editing skills are a plus (for example, MS ClipChamp)
  • Language skills: 
    • Fluent in English
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills 
  • Soft skills:
    • Time management, ability to meet required deadlines
    • Responsive and able to multi-task in a timely manner
    • Very organized and detail driven, ability to properly prioritize tasks based on project deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative, strong work ethic, and positive attitude
    • Ability to effectively interface with top leaders and executives in a highly professional, polished manner
    • Motivated self-starter, who is eager to learn 
    • Ability to be flexible with work hours and readily available to the support the team during busy program dates
