Job Description:
- Simulation of electron-optical systems
- Programming (Python, C#, C++ or Julia) and development of physical models
- Testing of development prototypes of electron microscopes and their components
- Measurement of physical characteristics in the field of electron optics and vacuum systems
- Preparation of experimental setups, evaluation of measured data, and presentation of results
- Automation of experiments using scripts
- Optimization of electron column settings
- Collaboration on development projects
Requirements:
- University or PhD student in physics or mathematics
- General technical overview, knowledge in applied physics and mathematics
- Programming knowledge (Python, C#, C++ or Julia)
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Czech/Slovak on communicative level required
- Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work 20 hours per week for one year
