About the Position
Assure the manufacturing process within specified Business Center meets objectives related to safety, quality, cost & delivery. Develop & drive strategies that align with objectives. Drive the Business Center Operation to scorecard attainment through application of Plant Optimization methodolgy.
Create culture of continuous improvement through usage of Plant Optimizatoin Pillars to engage associates and drive performance. Lead Focused Impromvement (FI) efforts within the Business Center with a sense of urgency.
Review & evaluate Business Center budget requirements for capital expenditures, labor, production/operations, etc. Assure budget objectives are met.
Drive initiatives that promote the continuous skill development (CSD) of associates. Develop Workforce Planning to ensure ongoing succession planning within the Business Center
Responsibilities

Lead performance of the Business Center Staff through Plant Optimization to ensure safety, quality, production, & delivery goals are being met.

Through deployment of Plant Optimization and associate engagement create an environment of promoting the growth & development of Business Center associates by leveraging the CSD pillar, professional development & insuring compliance to Goodyear Policies. Provide development & coaching of Area Managers within Business Center.

Create & implement long-term vision strategies for the operations that support plant & regional objectives

Monitor & control costs related to the plant including labor, materials & equipment
Education and Experience
-
Bachelors Degree with 8 years experience in manufacturing & Supervision or 13 years of experience in manufacturing & Supervision w/o degree

Experience in driving day to day operations

Strong Communications and Interpersonal Skills

Ability to drive change through influencing skills

Work in either Union Free or Union facilities
