We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Vice President of Corporate Marketing in the field of cybersecurity. As the VP of Corporate Marketing, you will play a critical role in leading and expanding our Marketing efforts globally. Your primary responsibilities will include, being the steward of the Darktrace brand, managing sponsorships and brand activations, leading a team of creative services professionals, optimizing the corporate website for demand and awareness generation as well as building out the Darktrace community of cyber security executives and practitioners. This position will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Marketing leadership team to contribute to the definition of the strategic objectives for marketing and build strong working relationships to deliver as a team.
- Define and execute corporate marketing and brand strategy, resulting in consistent branding, messaging and positioning.
- Execute on brand campaigns to excite employees, customers, prospects and partners
- Create and execute a community relations plan that attracts new cyber security executives and practitioners for the creation of an engaged community.
- Lead our brand building efforts and manage corporate brand sponsorships.
- Lead a highly creative, innovative and responsive creative services organization to provide messaging and creative guidance to ensure brand consistency, while also delivering a compelling brand experience for customers and partners
- Optimize and scale the corporate website and associated branded portals for engagement, accessibility and demand generation conversion
- Manage, build, and lead a strong team by recruiting, coaching and developing team members.
- Great strategic planning, organizational and creative thinking skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record of success in corporate brand management, preferably within the cybersecurity industry or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years Enterprise Software / SaaS marketing experience with 10+ years of team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including industry trends, solutions, and competitive landscape
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing corporate marketing strategies, achieving performance targets, and contributing to revenue growth
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive informed decision-making
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics related to marketing performance
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other departments and regions
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
