Our Newest Opportunity: 

The OneDigital Stop Loss Center of Excellence (SLCOE) will offer OneDigital offices a streamlined policy marketing and implementation process along with a dedicated claims and service team, which will alleviate the complexities associated with third-party stop loss vendors and ensure OneDigital clients are receiving the most competitive rates in the market. In addition, the SLCOE will provide claims support, allowing for expedited claims reimbursement. The SLCOE will identify and manage a panel of curated top-rated stop loss carriers that offer annually renewable contracts with best-in-class contract provisions.

The Consultant is responsible for establishing and managing strong relationships within the OneDigital field offices of current and newly acquired firms to promote the SLCOE.  By building trust and providing support/guidance to the teams, this individual will be the liaison between the field and the SLCOE.  These responsibilities will include strategic consultative assistance to our field teams and brokers for stop loss renewals and sales with an emphasis on providing guidance and in-depth self-funding and stop loss knowledge. They will help negotiate the renewal, act as an SME for stop loss in any broker/consultant presentation (as needed) as well as provide proactive support to the Director of the Stop Loss Center of Excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Manage, in coordination with the Director of the SLCOE, the stop loss policies for each client within the assigned region
  • Manage and develop team of analysts
  • Own all aspects of the marketing and analysis of the group stop loss policies
    • Montel Carlo simulations
    • Recommend contract provisions and policy placement
    • Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stop loss carrier partners, field offices, and OneDigital brokers.
  • Build trust of current and new field offices, through onsite and virtual meetings and training. Become a familiar contact for them regarding Stop Loss / Self-funding questions.
  • Extensive industry knowledge of self-funding, stop loss, plan designs, legislation, and emerging benefit trends.
  • Able to communicate the value proposition and importance of the SLCOE effectively and persuasively and why it is important for the SLCOE to perform the marketing and oversight of all OneDigital clients.
  • Develop and maintain accurate performance reports by field office location to determine field adherence.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to correspond and present in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to correspond and present in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to Broker/Consultant teams, and client audiences
  • Previous sales and relationship-building experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Stop Loss and Self-Funded plans is required
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects at once and thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment
  • Highly organized and driven to accomplish the goals set before him/her
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, required
  • Familiarity with multiple insurance companies or TPA’s strongly preferred
  • Underwriting experience preferred
  • Previous sales experience preferred

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Math, Accounting, or another related field, preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience working for a group insurance carrier, broker, or consultant, strongly preferred
  • 2+ years experience with people leadership/management experience
  • Current life and health producer license or a
