Automotive Technician - Tire Tracks - Manteno

Description

Tire Tracks, a full-service auto-repair shop serving the local and surrounding Manteno communities, is looking for a solid Automotive Technician with outstanding automotive repair & maintenance skills who is willing to grow with our team. Expect to stay challenged with a wide range of vehicles and complex jobs, while working with a great group of highly motivated and dedicated teammates.

EARN: $28 - $32/HR - Flat Rate w/ Accelerators up to $8/HR & Bi-weekly guarantee! (Average Annual Income $54,600 - $89,440)

B Technician Flat Rate Pay Plan: Flat Rate: Paid flat rate for every hour billed (no overtime). 65 hour bi-weekly guarantee. However, tech must work at least 80 hours in the pay period to receive the guarantee. The guarantee is paid out at Teammates base rate.

• Tier 1 Billed Hours Accelerator: $4 additional when a B Tech bills 60-69.99 in a pay period
• Tier 2 Billed Hours Accelerator: $6 additional when a B Tech bills 70-79.99 in a pay period
• Tier 3 Billed Hours Accelerator: $8 additional when a B Tech bills 80+ hours in a pay period
• *The accelerators are retro to the first hour worked.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Automotive Repair experience.
• Strong ability to diagnose and perform steering, suspension & alignment services.
• Strong ability to diagnose and perform heating & cooling services.
• Some ability to diagnose and repair electrical related issues.
• Some ability to diagnose and repair engine related issues.
• Previous experience and/or working knowledge of digital vehicle inspections.
• Have your own tools and a valid driver's license.
• Strong character & work ethic with a positive attitude.
