Primary Duties and Responsibilities
As a Sound Production Lab Assistant, your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Setting up production equipment.
Prepping space for class time.
Troubleshooting technical issues.
Reporting issues to IT and Facilities.
Assisting faculty and students with any needs in the lab.
Enforcing building policies.
Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to be on feet for extended periods of time.
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to navigate stairs without assistance.
Must have passed AET 2560 Sound Reinforcement I.
Any additional experience or knowledge is beneficial to the role, but not required.
Required EducationMust be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. Must have passed AET 2560 Sound Reinforcement I. Higher level AET courses and knowledge beneficial but not required. Required ExperienceNo experience required.Apply for this role
