Responsibilities

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist for Northside Hospital’s Choice + Program operates the magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings. 

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Radiography or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.

Registered Technologist by ARRT (RT) or

Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or

ARMRIT (MR)

Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Must meet competency level requirements for the Choice+ Program.

 

 

PREFERRED

 

Prior experience in magnetic resonance imaging.

A minimum of one (1) year of travel experience with an external or internal agency program (excluding float pools).
