As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with property policies; document relevant security-related observations and incidents.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
