PHP Team Leader

Projects:

Payment Gateway: The project involves new integrations and enhancing modules from an existing payment gateway, providing ongoing support and improvements.

Payments Reconciliation: The project encompasses the design, development, and implementation of a robust software solution tailored to reconcile payments from multiple sources.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of PHP/Symfony engineers.
• Design and implement services with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps Engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and deployment processes.
• Oversee and execute process improvements, developing policies, procedures, methods, and tools to support delivery.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and high-quality code.
• Coach and mentor engineering team members.
• Engage in technical discussions and collaborative problem-solving to devise innovative solutions for complex data handling and visualization issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
• Assist with the recruitment of new developers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
• Proficiency in PHP and experience with the Symfony framework.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including Vue.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience in event-driven architecture, microservices patterns, and asynchronous processing.
• Expertise in RESTful API design and development, including versioning, security, and documentation.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and writing complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of testing concepts and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive attitude. Fluent in English.
• Experience working with virtual distributed teams.
• Ability to work and think independently and autonomously.
• Ability to analyze problems, develop solution options, and make decisions.
