Maintenance Technician

Plastipak Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians repair and maintain plastic injection and extrusion machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production machines.

Shift: Nights 6:30p-7a (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)

Pay: $28/hr + shift premium

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician you will:

• Perform maintenance for manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations

• Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures

• Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution

• Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, & procedures

• Grow your knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

To qualify to be a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you'll need:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred

• Able to read and interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics

• Compressor experience perferred

• Able to provide own tools (wrenches, screw drivers, sockets, ratchet sets, etc)
