QA Manual Test Engineer

Due to our global success and exciting growth, HPR is seeking a QA Manual Test Engineer to drive and expand on our recently retooled user interface for our award-winning products.

As a QA Manual Test Engineer you will:

• Work as an integral part of HPR’s high-performance product engineering team.
• Operate complex HPR GUI and console applications in simulated test environments.
• Navigate Linux bash terminal to review log files and control services.
• Execute prescribed test procedures.
• Generate clearly written bug reports.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field
• Advanced, Upper Intermediate level of English
• 2-5 years of front-end test / manual QA experience
• 2+ years testing business critical applications
• Ability and initiative to complete tasks and solve problems autonomously
• Understanding of the life cycle of quality assurance and software development, QA documentation.
• Experience in developing of Test Plans, Test Cases, Check lists, Reporting documents.
• Experience with bug tracking and version control systems.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Demonstrable ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrable ability to debug complex problems and identify steps to reproduce

• Scripting experience – bash, Python
• CI/CD experience – Jenkins, Gitlab
