Overview: Join our dynamic Field Service Team as a Field Service Engineer, where you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and aspire to contribute to a world-class service organization, this role is for you. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Installation & Maintenance: Provide support for installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of mechanical, electromechanical, and software-based instruments. Tasks include installation, repair, calibration, cleaning, and testing of instruments. 

• Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, review solutions, discuss needs, and ensure safe operational conditions. 

• Sales Support: Actively support the sale of service contracts, collaborate with sales representatives and service team members on system configurations, upgrades, installations, and moves. Provide feedback to improve financial performance and generate service revenue. 

• Documentation: Complete service administration activities promptly, adhering to ISO, FDA, and BD policies. 

 

Territory in Nashville, TN - Ideal candidate will reside no more than 1 hour from the Nashville Airport.

Required Skills/Experience:��

• Associate’s degree or Technical School equivalent, OR Bachelor of Science in a related field preferred 

• Will also consider applicable equivalent military experience on a case-by-case basis 

• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record. No Suspensions last 5 years to include NO lapse in renewal.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments is a plus. 

 

Travel & Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to travel up to 50%, including occasional overnight stays based on business needs. Ability to drive distances of up to 6 hours within a given day, and in adverse weather conditions. <
