White Oak of Waxhaw is seeking compassionate and a dedicated RN to fill our full time Treatment Nurse position (Monday through Friday). This individual will assess patient/resident care needs and assist in implementing appropriate action. The purpose of this position is to follow facility policies and procedures to implement treatment protocol; review and recommend resident treatment needs and take appropriate action and to participate in oversight of care provided to residents. Communicate daily with CNAs, charge nurses, and supervisors related to resident skin condition, change in treatment orders, preventive skin care needs, etc. as indicated. Follow physicians order to carry out all treatments as ordered for entire facility.

Seeking a nurse that specializes in providing person centered nursing care. The ideal candidate is flexible and innovative with excellence in communication, strong leadership, a critical thinker, problem solver, excellent customer service and efficient organizational skills. Must relate professionally with patients, residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians and vendors.

Qualifications include: Current and Active RN license in the state of residence. 

Experience in long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a state approved school of Nursing. Current and active RN license in the state of residence. Must be in good physical and mental health and must be kind, considerate, understanding and enjoy working with elderly people. Must possess skills necessary for acting as charge nurse or Supervisor on a given unit, when assigned. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel.
