NOTE: A current California teaching credential is required.The Clinical Coordinator, School of Education (CC) is the liaison for the University and school districts for placing credential candidates in clinical settings. The CC oversees and maintains the University Clinical Supervisors and their assignments. In coordination with the Teacher Accreditation Department (TAD) and Director of Clinical Practice, the CC will arrange and be the leader in arranging, developing, and delivering fieldwork orientations for education credential candidates and University Supervisors. The CC will serve as a liaison with School of Education designees, working closely with education program faculty and staff to assure comprehensive service to credential candidates.
Remote work from any of the following states – Alabama, Arizona, California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.
NOTE: Knowledge of California Educational Credential Standard is essential for this role, even when recruiting from different states.
The hiring range for this position is $22.00 - $29.50 per hour. Offers are determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: geographical location, knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.
TYPE OF SUPERVISION:
Receive general supervision from the Director, Clinical Practice.
General Supervision — indicates that the incumbent performs a variety of duties; some of which may be complex duties within established policy guidelines; and receives occasional supervision.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Liaison with local school districts. Identify and contact schools/districts to place student teachers and other education credential candidates, in accordance with CTC requirements.
Identify, recruit, recommend for hiring and termination of University Clinical Supervisors
Assign University Clinical Supervisors to fieldwork students
Participate in training of University Clinical Supervisors
Follow up on (a) University Clinical Supervisors and their evaluations of candidates; (b) Candidates and their evaluations of University Clinical Supervisors and district
