We are looking for a new Head of Service Lean team in Northern Central Europe. If you are the person who can empower us to reaching our sustainable goals, please keep reading.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Service &gt; Global Service Operations &gt; Operational Excellence NCE </strong></p> <p>In 2014, Vestas established its Global Service business as a separate unit due to its growing importance. Our corporate strategy, "Profitable Growth for Vestas," outlines specific growth targets for the next three years. To reach such targets while keeping our cost base steady requires a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally. <br/>The Global Service LEAN team plays a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and excellence. We manage the Strategy Deployment process, develop global concepts, and implement improvements using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>As a senior member in the Global Service Lean Management Team, you will collaborate with Lean experts, Six Sigma black belts, change agents, and project managers across different locations to enhance Lean maturity and implement cost-reducing improvements in the service business. </p> <p>Moreover, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Engage with all levels of the organisation, including our highly skilled Service Technicians, frontline operational support, and Senior management, to create value for our customers, eliminate waste, and achieve significant savings</li> <li>Work in your region towards operational excellence in the categories of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (i.e., Inventory and productivity)</li> <li>While having kept high Safety and Quality standards, you will engage with our Service sites within the specific region you support to implement our Service LEAN roadmap and support the sites to increase their LEAN maturity and Cost performance</li> <li>Lead and further develop a Regional Lean team of specialists and professionals</li> <li>Align and communicate directly with the Regional Service Management to deliver the support needed</li> <li>Manage and support operational costs reduction by implementing standards &amp; best practices</li> <li>Secure Lean tools deployment &amp; assess training needs, and facilitate kaizen events to drive improvements</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a people manager</li> <li>At least 5-10 years of experience in Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies is required</li> <li>Academic degree Bachelor level or higher</li> <li>Experience with Lean in different environments (i.e. manufacturing, service and transactional)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>At a personal level, possessing the ability to engage others and demonstrating proficient interpersonal skills are very essential</li> <li>Experience with change management and implementation</li> <li>Experience in enhancing processes based on Value Stream and articulating future steps in a manner that our technicians easily grasp is equally important</li> <li>Experience with management, change management and implementation in a global environment</li> <li>Experience contributing to global improvements and standardisation using best practices</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <p>We offer an exciting job with great opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring and diverse work environment, within a global partner of the energy industry on sustainable energy solutions.
