How will you make an impact in this role?

The Director of Finance – GCS Lending supports the GCS Lending Product Team to drive financial performance and support the organization’s growth agenda. This role blends strategic planning with analytics, forecasting and reporting to aid investment decisions for Commercial Lending portfolio. The role would require ownership of analytical and technical workstreams that deliver clear, actionable insights to enable long term planning.  This position will lead a highly talented team and success in this role requires strong technical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate complex analyses and results to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead end-to-end reporting, planning and forecast for the Business Line of Credit portfolio across major planning cycles through close partnership with senior leadership in Product Management, Risk Management and Finance Data Science and Analytics teams.

·         Serve as the central finance partner for GCS Lending, providing proactive, consultative support to the organization.

·         Develop monitoring and analytics to identify underlying trends, risks and growth opportunities in Lending portfolio and present key analysis and performance narratives to senior management

·         Provide thought leadership in development and enhancement of month-end reporting and analysis process for card lending, including exploration of GenAI capabilities

·         Work cross functionally on projects across partner teams in Product, Risk Management and Finance Data Science and Analytics to quantify business transformation opportunities and enhance forecasting processes.

·         Lead and develop a team of three high performing individuals including two managers and one analyst, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

·         Provide decision support with a strong emphasis on developing analytics that identify trends and opportunities across financial metrics which can be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field

·         Solid financial and analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, information-based decisions

·         Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and translate broad business questions into actionable analyses

·         Must be results
