Production Control Specialist (Scheduling)

Overview:   Candidate will plan, schedule, and optimize the flow of production

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scheduler with Lean Manufacturing experience such as; material/product pull systems, line balancing techniques, and time study experience. Must also have strong problem solving and kaizen abilities.
• Supports new products preparation activities
• Supports balance out activities
• Issue and maintain kanbans
• Calculate requirements and issue Production and Heijunka schedule.
• Report manufacturing status by assembly line
• Provide maintenance to the weekly production schedule
• Provide backup the receiving and shipping functions, as needed
• Receive and input the customer orders and forecasts in the system
• Customer Relations including calls, emails, surveys, customer portals, etc.
• ECI Management
• Cycle Counts
• Negative Inventory Investigation and Correction
• Customer Scorecards
• Back Order Investigation  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or at least four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
