Senior Planner

- Release work orders in accordance with Sales Demand and Stock Requirements
- Keeps production lines loaded according to schedule requirements
- Works with the buyers to ensure shortages are being expedited to support commitment dates
- Works with production to ensure WIP items are scheduled to meet on-time leads
- Expedites operations that delay schedules
- Sets Kanban stocking levels for raw and WIP parts on the line to speed up supply chain execution
- Review specific sales forecasts for communication to buyers and manufacturing
- Interacts with department supervisors/team leaders to determine status of assigned projects
- Interacts with all levels of plant and corporate personnel
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Work overtime as required
You promote a sense of urgency and establish and enforce individual accountability in the team. You consistently apply a business driver and marketplace focus when prioritizing actions. You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions. You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or another related field or a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning Systems
- Experience working with bills of materials
- Previous experience with Oracle
- APICs certified
