The Field Merchant Team is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Analyst to support our Front Store Merchandising organization. This position will play a critical role in shaping the customer experience across 7,000+ stores with being hyper focused in select Field Operational Divisions that support a Field Merchant. This position is instrumental in delivering the best DSD products to our customers by leveraging strong analytical skills to evaluate sales trends, identify opportunities and optimize merchandising strategies.
The ideal candidate can not only identify complex problems but implement solutions and drive strategic changes across DSD categories as well as support larger business unit challenges. Candidates should be able to clearly present to Field Merchant and Executive Director leadership. A successful Analyst will leverage strong prioritization skills to proactively anticipate the DSD market that enables in-stock and financial impacts. Candidates must be able to successfully:

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
15% - Participates in cross-functional meetings, presents findings and recommendations, and drives initiatives that support category growth. Communicates directly with field leaders on service needs / problem resolution. Contributes to division and vendor meeting prep, manages DSD SharePoint and Field DSD resources.
15% - Analyzes and optimizes the performance of assets, develops plans to maximize their value, and provides recommendations for improvements on DSD Categories.
15% - Conducts in-depth analysis of the performance, risks, and potential returns of assets within the DSD Categories.
10% - Monitors and analyzes sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) for DSD categories and and generates reports to evaluate the effectiveness of category strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
10% - Leverage Ad-hoc and customized Reporting to forecast demand and stock levels to ensure in-stock status for key seasonal and holiday weeks on high demand DSD items.
10% - Manage all Store Projects such as new, relo, expansion, H&W, etc. as well as Store Closings. Partner with Field Leaders to ensure execution and outcomes.
5% - Resolves AP issues by working with the accounts payable and CM team including chargeback reporting; maintains all DSD contacts
5% - Manages field and distributor communication for transitions in markets and ad hoc concerns; item assortment / emergencies like hurricane, fire, and market unrest.
5% - Reviews supplier performance and attends supplier meetings to identify emerging trends and industry achievements.
