Bed Care Technician gain experience to become Brilar’s leaders of the future through:

• Maintain weed-free beds.
• Care for trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials.
• Maintain certification for commercial pesticide applications (assistance will be provided).
• Safely utilize pesticides in landscape areas.
• Communicate with operations manager regarding job site and service issues.
• Snow removal services in the winter.
• Ensuring work is conducted safely for the employees, the clients, the public and our environment.
• Safely operating tools and equipment.
• Equipment care and general maintenance.

Requirements

• Valid Chauffeur’s license with acceptable driving record and DOT medical card
• Pesticide Applicator License
• Able to safely operate commercial vehicles and trucks with trailers
• Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly
• Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Able to be on call 24/7 during winter season months
• Able to handle the physical demands of the position
• Be punctual and reliable
• Accountability to themselves and to their team
• Ownership of Job
• Be someone others want to work with
