Bed Care Technician gain experience to become Brilar’s leaders of the future through:
- Maintain weed-free beds.
- Care for trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials.
- Maintain certification for commercial pesticide applications (assistance will be provided).
- Safely utilize pesticides in landscape areas.
- Communicate with operations manager regarding job site and service issues.
- Snow removal services in the winter.
- Ensuring work is conducted safely for the employees, the clients, the public and our environment.
- Safely operating tools and equipment.
- Equipment care and general maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid Chauffeur’s license with acceptable driving record and DOT medical card
- Pesticide Applicator License
- Able to safely operate commercial vehicles and trucks with trailers
- Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly
- Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to be on call 24/7 during winter season months
- Able to handle the physical demands of the position
- Be punctual and reliable
- Accountability to themselves and to their team
- Ownership of Job
