JOB SUMMARY
The Department of Perioperative Services is currently recruiting for a Senior Administrative Assistant to support a Director and Assistant Director.
- Interacts with hospital executive leadership frequently, requiring a high level of professionalism.
- Provides excellent customer service in-person and by phone, ensuring responsive communication with staff, physicians, patients, and the public.
- Manages payroll, agency invoicing, and financial reporting for designated areas.
- Tracks employee training, licensure, and certification compliance.
- Assists with office staffing needs and supports other staff as needed.
- Communicates effectively, relaying information and resolving issues.
- Handles multiple administrative tasks including supply management, data entry, and coordination with other departments.
- Attends and supports meetings, including taking and distributing minutes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
THIS POSITION IS 100% ON-SITE, M-F 7 AM TO 3:30 PM

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience
3 years to 5 years related experience or combination of education and skills and basic writing ability and accurate spelling.
May consider higher education completed in lieu of minimum requirements.

JOB DUTIES
- Provides responsive and helpful demeanor to staff, physicians, patients and public in person or via telephone. Answers telephone by the fourth ring and identifies self when answering the telephone.
- Handles payroll for designated areas under manager's supervision.
- Reconciles agency invoices, tracks agency use, and summarizes in bi-weekly financial report.
- Tracks department's mandatory annual training, licensure, and certifications. Ensures all appropriate licensure and certifications for employees are up to date.
