Key Responsibilities
The Associate Director, Learning Excellence – Solid Tumor Oncology Medical Affairs serves as a strategic and executional partner responsible for shaping clinical & capability development of the Solid Tumor Medical Affairs organization. This role is responsible for designing, developing, executing, and evolving training programs that enable Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to demonstrate excellence in both clinical and scientific engagement with Healthcare Providers and Opinion Leaders, to support clinical research programs, and to provide internal scientific support.
Collaboration with internal partners to identify training needs and shape the clinical learning strategy, including onboarding curriculum, product and evidence launches, continuous learning initiatives, and ongoing knowledge reinforcement will be vital. This individual will also be adept at leveraging future‑forward learning platforms, AI‑enabled solutions, and simulation‑based education to strengthen capabilities in both field and in-house medical affairs teams.
Strategic Learning Design & Execution
- Design and execute quarterly & annual learning strategies that align with Solid Tumor Medical Affairs priorities and evolving field needs.
- Translate complex scientific, clinical, and engagement requirements into instructionally sound, field‑ready learning experiences.
- Ensure learning strategies support both scientific depth and engagement excellence
- Own launch & legacy training
MSL Clinical & Scientific Engagement Excellence
- Design, develop, and facilitate scientific learning solutions & skill-based training that elevates field medical (MSL) capabilities in competitive scientific exchange, clinical excellence, data interpretation, and compliant engagement with HCPs.
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content is delivered accurately, is relevant, and is aligned to current and emerging evidence.
- Reinforce best practices for field application through reinforcement, coaching tools, and ongoing learning pathways.
Cross‑Matrixed Partnership & Influence
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships across Medical Affairs, Field leadership, Learning Excellence, and cross‑functional partners to co-create scalable learning solutions
