Senior Manager, Global Brand Management, Brand Initiatives
What will you do?
A day in the life of the Sr. Global Brand Manager, Brand Initiatives at The North Face looks a little like this: Reporting into the Sr. Director of Global Brand Management, you will work collaboratively and cross-functionally in identifying + leading our overall strategic marketing approach to modern + innovative Brand opportunities. In this role, you will lead the evergreen execution of Icon and Franchise Management, partner with our Innovation teams to develop premium positioning for long-lead initiatives, drive brand identity and vision at key milestones in our GTM process and collaborate with leadership on new white-space opportunities.
For the right candidate, this is an amazing opportunity to drive the future vision of The North Face. Your responsibilities will be diverse and wide-reaching. An entrepreneurial spirit will be necessary as we explore new ways of inspiring and engaging our consumer. While this role does not currently oversee a direct report, a commitment to influential leadership will be necessary across the organization.

Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a modern and distinctive strategic vision for The North Face across franchise product marketing, long-lead innovation, and brand-building milestones in the go-to-market process.
Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends and opportunities against the apparel, footwear, and equipment competitive landscape.
Franchise Management: Deliver annual category and seasonal campaign strategy for our largest icon and foundational product franchises.
Product Marketing: Implement best-in-class product marketing for our most advanced innovations across apparel, footwear, equipment, and accessories.
Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to measure effectiveness of strategies and campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed and providing regular reporting of such to leadership + key stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product design, merchandising, marketplace, and marketing teams to ensure we show up in an authentic and consistent manner across all key touchpoints and aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.
Innovation: Drive innovation in brand marketing, leveraging modern marketing techniques to engage and inspire the next generation of consumers.
Budget Management: Manage project budget planning, invoicing, and reconciliation for global creative productions, partnerships, and special activations.
Relationship Building: Own, establish, and nurture relationships with internal and external key players across the Outdoor + Retail Industry.
People Leadership: This role is likely to manage direct reports in the future and an immediate commitment to influential leadership across the organization will be necessary.
What do you need to succeed?

An ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant experience within a global organization and the ability to thrive in undefined, exploratory projects.
The foundational skills you will need in this position are:
Experience in global brand management, preferably in the lifestyle/fashion or outdoor industry.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns in a global organization, understanding the nuances of global alignment and
