The In-N-Out Burger Community Engagement team has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Program Officer Advocacy and Awareness for our Slave 2 Nothing Foundation based out of our Irvine, CA* office.
This position will report to the Foundation Supervisor and support In-N-Out Burger’s Slave 2 Nothing Foundation. The Sr. Program Officer will play a key role in advancing awareness initiatives, developing advocacy efforts, and strengthening community partnerships to increase the Foundation’s impact and visibility.
The Slave 2 Nothing Foundation was established to educate and support nonprofits working to eliminate human trafficking, as well as focus on those fighting substance abuse.
*This position is full-time, in-office only

General Responsibilities
- Engage nonprofits, partners, and stakeholders within our priority causes—building relationships and gathering insights through site visits and other interactions to strengthen awareness and advocacy efforts.
- Develop and contribute to programs that advocate for priority causes and enhance community awareness, in collaboration with senior staff.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Communications, and Project Management teams to contribute to and refine community engagement strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations to foster partnerships and support long-term collaboration.
- Contribute significantly to the planning and execution of events, projects, and special initiatives, ensuring alignment with Foundation and company goals.
- Develop and lead Slave 2 Nothing initiatives that advocate for priority causes and build community awareness, carrying initiatives from ideation through completion.
- Conduct research and landscape scans to identify advocacy opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partners that align with the Foundation’s mission and priorities.
- Support the development of awareness and advocacy strategies by gathering insights, analyzing opportunities, and providing recommendations to senior leadership.
Work Schedule + Benefits
- Full-time, Salary, Exempt
- Pay Range: $77,000-$90,000
- The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.
- Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- Department needs will call for occasional evenings and weekends
- Travel: Approximately 20–50% of work time will be spent in the field, including required out-of-state travel.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Certification in Grant Management, Grant Writing, Project Management, or Nonprofit Management is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 6 years of nonprofit management experience, with a focus on grant making or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, relationship building, and advocacy within the nonprofit sector.
