End-of-Life Vehicle Specialist

Ford Hungary is looking for an End-of-Life Vehicle Specialist to join our team in Szentendre

General

• Support End–of-Life  Vehicle (ELV) Network strategy and reporting Process for take back and Recycling of vehicles returned to FORD.
• Support and develop ELV Strategy through political, economic and technological analysis in conjunction with NSCs and other vehicle manufacturers and Vehicle take-back partners.
• Provide EU NSC/Importers with ELV related annual side reserve /balance sheet recommendation
• Establish and maintain take back network together with local FCSD functions in line with legal and homologation requirements

Growth

• Identify growth opportunities or cost reduction.
• Support NSC's to fulfil legal Homologation / ELV Recycling requirements in a cost effective way, addressing dismantler/shredder capability for fulfilling ELV recycling Quota requirements

Quality

• Ensure that local EU market URL's do show actual local ELV Partners.
• Ensure that queries by public Administrators / Boards / NSC's are answered in coordination with other VM, local VM association, ACEA and Ford SE&SE.
• Guide NSC's to ensure, that Ford's Position on ELV is covered during VM Association Meetings.
• Personal Support of local Association Meetings in the case of: new legal development, implementation / control of ELV Network, Quota or reporting problems,
• Chase and guide local Senior Management on following deliverables: ELV Network density, contract renewal and fulfilment of country specific requirements, ELV performance reporting and regular adjusted side reserves in the NSC/Importer balance sheet.

Quality

• Set up and maintain the ELV contract Portfolio (central master contracts and local contracts) according Ford Global Terms and Conditions and applying legal requirements 
• Support and control ELV Network capability to achieve a 95% / 85 % Recycling and Recovery Quota.
• Ensure that all ELV contracts are negotiated within delegated purchasing authority, signed within Delegation of Authority Approval Levels and is according FM multiyear Agreement requirements
• Ensure central and local OGC contract approval has been given to the contracts in place
• To cover European Homologation supervisory duties on ELV Recycling a certain number of contracted / subcontracted ELV Partners need to be regularly Audit in all assigned member states.
• Maintain and update department Basic control files.

• Prior experience preferable in waste management, environmental legislation, lobbying,  finance (accounting preferred), market planning, internal control 
• Master/Bachelor of Engineering, Master/Bachelor of law, Master/Bachelor of Environmental Management
• Fluency in English (written & spoken) essential given interface with all EU markets. Fluency in German an advantage given interface to German Automotive and trade associations.
• Excellent communication skills, (to represent Ford in national Environmental Ministry and various associations).
• Well organised, with self-discipline and excellent organisational skill. Excellent PC Skills.
