The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials. This management-level role requires expertise in warehouse operations, staff supervision, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of goods;
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and minimize losses;
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety training;
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in warehouse operations;
- •Plan and manage warehouse space utilization to maximize storage capacity and improve workflow;
- Oversee the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to streamline operations;
- Develop and manage the warehouse budget, including cost control and financial reporting;
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations and material handling;
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff; Develop work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels;
