Channel Marketing Manager - Retail Solutions

Location: Remote USA. This role can be performed anywhere from the United States.

The Role

GoPro is seeking a candidate for the Channel Marketing and Retail Solutions team. The position will be responsible for advancing performance, programs and strategic initiatives directly related to Retail programs.  This role will work extremely closely with the Sales, Sales Ops, Training, Creative, Product, Operations, Media and Marketing teams to support the retail business by elevating the GoPro consumer experience. This person will support general marketing and project management duties across Sales, Channel Marketing and Retail Solutions teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with coordinating, managing, and supporting initiatives and workstreams related to all aspects of Retail Marketing (marketing activations, in-store, and online merchandising).

What You Will Do

• Plan and coordinate operations for retail marketing activations with internal Channel Marketing, POP, and Creative counterparts.
• Routinely update projects in project tracker tools, break projects down into deliverables and complete projects by deadlines.
• Manage, measure and optimize programs that drive results and improve efficiency.
• Produce detailed project schedules, implement systems, and process optimization projects ensuring the proposed solution aligns to Channel Marketing and POP plans.
• Develop consistent approach to proposals by creating desired, consistent, and accurate documentation.
• Communicate progress and status in diverse communication platforms and forums.
• Establish and maintain strong relationship with all key stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Customer-focused mindset to strengthen relationships with retail partners to drive GTM vision.

 

Skills We’re Excited About

• 5+ years of relevant experience in project or program management, channel marketing, or retail merchandising.
• Possess an understanding of the planning and production process for creative, print and other marketing tactics.
• Ability to clearly interpret and comprehend requirements to create a quality project plan, schedule, budget and execute.
• Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders
• Proven record of successfully executing: sales enablement plans, presentation creation, and developing comprehensive marketing overview
• Solid understanding of project management systems: Wrike, Asana, etc.
• A self-starter who naturally works productively independently or collaboratively.
• Team-player who can execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment and startup culture; ability to stay organized and multi-task and still implement when priorities change.

 

Bonus Points For

• Certification in Project Management
• Experience in Visual Merchandising, Planograms, or Digital Media Production
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable with frequent travel (up to 70%), proximity to an international airport is essential.
