The Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Business and Revenue Strategy leads a portfolio of revenue-generating units including Dining Services Contract Administration, Campus Stores, Convocation & Events Center, and e-Commerce activities. The AVP is charged with providing vision, oversight, direction, and leadership for these activities ensuring the effective management and efficient operation of these service operations in manners that best support and serve the university's varied constituents, its mission, and its strategic priorities while encouraging and supporting an entrepreneurial spirit to revenue generation. The AVP reports to the Executive Vice President for Finance & Administration and CFO.

Position is located on the main campus in Stephenville, Texas with in-office work hours of Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm or as work requirements indicate, which may include afterhours, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the overall strategic and operational activities for the business units.
Drives innovation and transformational change to support achievement of strategic
outcomes and revenue optimization.
Builds a strong working partnership with key university leaders to identify, encourage, and develop revenue-generating activities.
Develops and implements programs, policies, and initiatives which contribute to an exceptional student and customer experience.
Provides leadership in improving processes that enhance collaboration and service delivery.
Ensures the overall performance (financial, service, productivity) of the business units.
Promotes a culture of accountability and ownership, by establishing the vision, strategy
and departmental goals.
Optimizes contracts for the benefit of the university while creating strong partnerships.
Develops a communications and outreach strategy that builds confidence and cultivates strong relationships and collaboration across the university that in turns helps the
university community understand, embrace, and support new directions.
Creates a service culture that is responsive and rooted in customer service, operational
excellence, revenue optimization, goal-setting, and customer-outcomes focus.
Creates a positive work environment, empowering employees to use their full range of talents and abilities.
Collaborates with campus and external partners to develop robust e-Commerce platforms which support and encourage revenue-generating activities.
Enhances employee engagement and drives and supports the development of action plans to address issues.
