• November 13 – December 8: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume) 
• Mid November – Late December: First round video interviews  
• Mid – Late January: Second round interviews 
• Late January – February: Selected candidates receive offers 

Job Description

Summer 2024 Internship Program:

• Applications Close: December 8th at 11:59pm ET. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible – applications could close earlier due to applicant volume!
• Program Dates: June 3 – August 9, 2024
• Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. 
• Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from New York, NY 3-5 days per week.

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:

• Ad Sales Finance: Ad Sales Finance for Hispanic includes Entertainment and Sports. Interns will have exposure to different groups within Ad Sales, Planning, Inventory, Research and Sales. Responsibilities include cash pacing tracking, weekly inventory charts, Ad hoc financial analysis, Program greenlight and postmortems. Exposure to long range planning and budgeting. 
• Controllership: Work as part of the Corporate Controllership team, which is centralized in New York and has oversight over the Controllership function globally across NBCUniversal (with main hubs in NY, LA, London, and Amsterdam). This role will assist with the key worldwide monthly & quarterly close process and balance sheet account reconciliation process and learn how this function works across NBCU.
• Corporate Strategy & Development: An intern on this team will have the opportunity to work across multiple businesses within NBCUniversal (Film & Television Studios, Television & Direct-to-Consumer Entertainment, News & Sports, Telemundo, Fandango, Consumer Products, and Parks). This unique position will provide access to high-level strategic decision-making in the ever-evolving world of media & entertainment. 
• Treasury: The Treasury Intern will join a team focused on supporting the banking and cash operational needs across NBCUniversal’s global portfolio of businesses. The internship will provide an opportunity to cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business.
