What You Will Do:
Collecting information for project cost estimates, ongoing monitoring and control of project costs incurred, cost forecasting, cost variance analysis and reporting
Assist as a dedicated Field Cost Analyst (FCA) resource for various Core Programs projects
Provide in-depth analysis of projects during construction and report current progress and issues to enable proactive communication for risks mitigation
Effective verbal and written communication with 3rd Party Contractors; Construction Management and SCM and typically consists of the collection and relay of facts.
Collaborate with contractors to deliver training and support for EcoSys LEMs), while ensuring they provide correct rates and estimates
Support invoicing process including attesting and tracking contractor LEMs (Labor, Equipment, Materials and Subcontractors), generating payment certificates
Assist Project Controls Advisor (PCA) in gathering accruals and finalizing incurred cost and forecast for construction and construction services
Coordinate with PMs, Contractor and SCM / Buyer for Contract Change Management
Maintain logs (LEMS, Invoice, Change) and historic databases
Assist with PO creation, AFEs, Task codes validation
Work with SCM to close out POs
Assist in developing and reporting key performance indicators
Review policies and procedures and recommend improved processes for field cost management.
Who You Are:
You have the following education and experience:
University degree or equivalent in a related field
A minimum of three years of directly related experience
Ability to comfortably work with Microsoft Office software, company financial systems, enterprise structure and standard operating procedures, etc.
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload and resolve issues in a timely manner
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. This includes the ability to effectively interact with peers, internal and external stakeholders. Strong written communications abilities, including good spelling and grammar, are essential for this position.
Possess an aptitude for successfully building relationships with employees, internal stakeholders, vendors and service providers.
Working Conditions:
Office environment
Overnight business or construction field trips may be required
Expectation to produce required reports and cost data in a timely manner
Occasional travel to field worksite locations. May require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
