Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary

As a Senior Lead Data Analyst on the Sales Operations team, you will be a key component to meeting overall business data and reporting objectives. This role will help manage the day-to-day flow of Sales Operations data to and from the data warehouse, while monitoring ongoing quality control of the data. This role is best suited for someone with a technical background as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This role is on-site full-time in our Dallas, TX office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

• Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity

• Interact with the IT team to understand how information is stored, modeled, and tagged

• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

• Train end-users on new reports and dashboards

• Data Interpretation: Interpreting data results and providing actionable recommendations to support decision-making

• Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing complex data-related challenges and developing innovative solutions

Primary Skills & Requirements:  

• Proven working experience as Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst for over 6 years

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Technical expertise regarding data lakes, data models, data warehousing, analytics, and business intelligence

• Strong knowledge of ETL and experience utilizing different tech stacks - SQL Service Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, Azure, Snowflake, Alteryx Designer and Server Excel, etc.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Diagnostic Information Gathering. The ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources, and use skillful questioning to draw out the information.

• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
