About the role

Job Description

As a Regional Stock Accuracy Lead, you will play a key role in supporting markets and areas in optimizing stock accuracy, reducing shrink, and ensuring the successful execution of RFID-related processes. This role involves data analysis, operational support, process improvements, and collaboration with key stakeholders to drive efficiency and compliance across the Region. You will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for KPI goal-setting, solution implementation, and continuous improvements in RFID and stock management, helping shape the future of stock management at H&M. This hybrid role reports into our Smart Store Program Manager and is based out of our New York Support Office.

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities*

RFID/Stock Analysis & Operations

  • Support markets and areas in tracking and improving key KPIs, including Stock Accuracy, Negative Differences, and Added Sales.
  • Ensure correct Ways of Working (WoW) and Fundamentals in collaboration with Store Operations.
  • Analyze and resolve RFID/Stock-related issues, including maximizing OMNI stock availability, RFID performance, stock discrepancies, and shrink figures.
  • Assist Security and Compliance teams in understanding and addressing shrink-related concerns.
  • Act as SPOC for RFID KPI goal-setting at the Regional level.
  • Support markets in configuring Approval Engine and Financial postings to optimize stock processes.

Application & Solution Development/Maintenance

  • Act as SPOC for all new developments and process changes released from the Global Team.
  • Ensure effective communication of release notes, training materials, and updates to Markets, Areas, and Stores.
  • Secure translations of key materials into local languages when applicable.
  • Develop deep expertise in RFID/Stock applications such as SIM, Clarity, gStore, etc.
  • Participate in local testing of applications and solutions to ensure seamless implementation.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

  • Collect and consolidate improvement proposals from Markets, Areas, and Stores, and provide feedback to the Global Team.
  • Lead or participate in MVPs and test initiatives in collaboration with the Global Team.
  • Engage in workshops and meetings with the Global Team to provide insights, ideate, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships with all relevant regional teams to understand and address RFID, stock, and shrink-related concerns. This collaboration includes accounting, logistics, transportation, merchandising, controlling, and other key functions, ensuring a holistic approach to stock management and optimization.
  • Domestic and International travel required up to 20%

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

  • 3+ years of experience in RFID, stock management, or inventory control within a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and act on KPI data.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of RFID systems and stock management applications (e.g., SIM, Clarity, gStore) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, ensuring clear information flow to markets and stores.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-market environment and drive continuous improvements.
