Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced F-15 Modification Maintenance Controller willing to support the F-15 program in Mountain Home, ID.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Mountain Home, ID.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads the assembly, disassembly and modification of systems by overseeing the change, removal, replacement or upgrade of aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Directs troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Oversees validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- Leads and supervises others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
- Provides training and mentors others.
- Works under minimal direction.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum of 3 years' experience aircraft maintenance environment supporting configuration management and release for flight
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in airplane operational and organizational processes in maintenance operations and/or flight operations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with military aircraft maintenance
- F-15 Aircraft Systems experience
- Experience with 781 Series Aircraft Forms.
- F-15 flight operations experience
- May be required to work in areas that are noisy, dusty, and dirty. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).
