What You'll Do:

• Have a team of 3-10 employees directly reporting to you
• Continuously contribute to improving the safety of Marley Spoon employees
• 1:1 completion for all team members on a monthly basis
• Provide instructions to the team about day to day tasks and assist as needed
• Manage, plan and schedule 3-10 employees on a weekly basis
• To submit internal and external non conformance reports
• To provide weekly line layout preparation support
• GMP compliance on site
• Incoming and outbound quality checks using tools such as thermometer, pH meter, food scales, vernier caliper
• Update quality numbers in the computer system; can use a computer and type/data entry using computer programs like google drive , ERP system
• Record BBD/ lot# on daily basis to maintain traceability
• Communicate with teams on site and off site cross functionally to ensure smooth flow of operations
• Conduct swabs in repack room
• Provide guidance to employees by coordinating work and resolving problems for their QA team.

Requirements

• Hands on attitude.
• Able to drive forklift (certification will take place at the facility).
• Critical thinking and problem solve skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work as part of a small but collaborative team.
• Must be able to read, interpret and take direction in English
• Must be able to bend and lift up to 30 pounds repetitively
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Exposure to temperatures that range from freezing to sub-freezing (coolers, freezers, etc.) (0-40 F)
• Must be able to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach above and below shoulders; repetitive use of hands
• Must be able to work with Allergens
• Must be able to work weekends
• Performance Management for the direct reports
• Problem Solving professional, confidential
• Results Driven
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions).
• Basic computer skill knowledge.
• 1 or more years of related experience
• Bachelor's in food science or related field is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
